After spending months researching film schools all over the U.S. I decided to join the Academy of Art College : the Motion Pictures & Television degree.. Well I'm just in freshmen year yet but my experience has been priceless. Definately the best UNDERGRADUATE film program. Yes they let anyone in.. but hardly let anyone out.. The teachers are great.. unlimited equipment.. Sanfrancisco is a great city!

The college also has unusual courses you might not find at other film schools.. like 'music television: mtv & the montage' 'the tv commercial'.. 'the power of myth & symbol' also 'the pixar class' and other exclusive classes just for the top students..

great industry connections.. alot of the teachers are working in industrial light and magic.. pixar etc.. very high job placement.. perhaps also because only 20% survive the degree.. very expensive city though..

but like anyone will tell you.. being a successful filmmaker depends on you not the school you go to.. but this place will give you everything you need and more.. education.. skill.. training and opportunity..
