N.Y. Women in Film and Nehst Studios workshop and pitch session

We wanted to let you know about an event NEHST Studios will be holding in New York, on December 1st with the New York Women in Film. NEHST Studios is actively looking to fill up its large slate of projects to shoot within the next two-three years.

Larry Meistrich (Oscar-Golden Globe winning producer of "Sling Blade," " You Can Count on Me," Belly," and "Croupier") founder of the Shooting Gallery and today CEO of Nehst Studios, will be holding a Pitch Session at the event. NEHST’s goal is to find 50/60 projects to produce and distribute, (movies, shows, series, and documentaries) budgeted anywhere from two to fifty millions each.

Larry will be holding a live pitch session for anybody wishing to pitch their ideas, during which attendants will be receiving tips on how to pitch as well as inside industry information throughout the day. You will be pitching to someone with green light power who is creating a slate for production. Twelve deals have already been made from these pitches, and the number is climbing.

Larry just announced on Fox Tv the first $ 250 million film fund to invest on Indipendent Films. Nehst is waiting to announce other two film funds which will confirm Nehst Studios as the biggest Indipendent Production-Distribution Company in business today.

To attend the workshop as an observer there is a $20 fee.
To attend the workshop and pitch to Larry there is a $35 fee.

The event will be held on Saturday December 1st at the New York University,
19 university place, 1st floor, from 9.00 am to 4.00pm.
