The Doorpost Film Project is an organization created to find, honor and equip emerging filmmakers whose works depict the core of life, its struggles and its purpose. We believe that life has meaning, and the imagination comes from somewhere beyond our reason. We hope to meet your needs as an aspiring filmmaker in order to see this imagination at work in films that open hearts to possibilities, wonder and joy, instead of canned, formulaic expressions that only seek to manipulate emotion. This Project exists to move beyond entertainment to influence.

Over the course of the next year, we plan to provide you a new theatre experience. There will be free online tutorials regarding various aspects of the filmmaker's obstacle. How can you produce a film that will be seen by many, revered by some, but afforded by all? Our plan is to help you do just that. The supporters of this organization are a consortium of investors from multiple continents, backgrounds and walks of life who have found unity in this desire to see the substance beyond our eyes, to hear the sounds beyond our ears, to know what exists beyond our experience. We believe that reality is stranger than fiction and the wonders we cannot see are greater than the images we can. Therefore, we will supply the canvas, you supply the paint, and together, we will display life in art.
