Bachelors Degree or Diploma, Whats the difference??

Hey.,

Which is better a Bachelors Degree or a 2-3 year Diploma ? And does it make a huge difference?
I'm currently looking into entering Film Production. However I do need some suggestions.
I'v been hearing good things about VFS however after reading many reviews from current students I'm kinda unwilling to concide that it is worth the effort. I live in Toronto and I'v been looking at different schools nearby namely The University of Western Ontario, Confederation, Humber and York, Are they any good? Any Help is Greatly Appreciated.
