Radio Publicity Salesperson for Indie Films, part time flex

Part-time 20 hrs/wk, or full-time, full-commission inside-salesperson needed to sell radio interview (publicity) campaigns to indie filmmakers. We won the Book Publicists of Southern California award for Book Publicist of 2006; several of our clients have had half-hour and full-hour interviews on talk stations right here in LA (as well as around the country.) And our top salesperson made over $80,000 in commission for 2007 on a part-time flexible schedule. You'll be contacting prospective filmmakers that need exposure; you'll receive sales help in the form of general sales advice, specific sales techniques pertinent to our campaigns, not to mention web promotion, help from interns (that you get to interview yourself), and a company name that is well known in the radio interview community. Campaigns sell for $4000 to $8000, and commission is 25 percent. There is no base, salary, draw or quota. Mostly outbound phone calls and emails to individuals (you do not contact radio stations). Must work from our Santa Monica office. Must currently live in Los Angeles (no relocations). Shifts are very flexible, from 9am to 7pm, as long as an average of 4 hours is done each day.
