The script is there, the funding is not

I have a script that needs to be read by someone that can help get funding for this film. Great comedy screenplay. Well written. Could possibly start a new comdey franchise. It's hilarious, and people who don't find much funny, found this to be very very funny when they read it. I just need an individual who knows who to contact in Hollywood. Agents are welcome. Any offers will be considered. Help is greatly wanted.

What's it about?

Incompetent Australian TV show hosts Steve Thorin and Steve Thorpe have recently been ejected from the latest of a string of dead-end jobs as hosts of a local television show in Hoboken New Jersey. They set off onto their next project, to be directed by Barrie, a down-on his luck director, whos next flop will get him fired. The production is under watch by the schizophrenic gay cop, Bobo. The Steves screw most of the entire production up, but under the direction of Barrie, the production wraps only to be arrested for T.V. fraud. (It's a hard story to explain, and the script is much much much better than my crappy description).

Sounds like a "Hum-Dinger."

What?

I have a friend who's a producer and screenwriter that might be interested in starting up another project.

Do you think your friend wouold be interested in this project? And if so, could you put me intouch with him? I would really appreciate it.

If anything, I would have to speak with him about it first. He doesn't like me to give out his information because he doesn't want to start getting hounded by people he doesn't know. I know he just finished up a project in Canada and right now he's working on a spec script from New Line and editting my last script. But I'll talk to him and send him the brief summary that you had posted.

editting ? Just kidding lol. Speaking of contacting people in Hollywood anyone have an inside track on getting ahold of Eric Stoltz. I have a completed script covered and edited about his death.

It sounds...interesting.

TFF...okay Morris. That made me laugh out loud. Thanks for that!

Funny...I hope you're still laughing when its sold and I'm signed with an agency. I have a couple friends in Cali that should help me get with their agency. So laugh it up fuzzball.

LOL..okay take it easy, Han. Speaking of scripts...have you read mine yet? Hmmmm?

Man I dont have any friends in Cali. Just Seattle and we will never be a film town, my only hope is to get a gig doing TV in Vancouver. Oh well I'm having fun.

alright, thanks

If you call S.A.G., they will tell you who his agent is. I think they still do that, but with the security stuff going these days it's anyone's guess.

Oh, I was being a bit crass. I actually already spoke to his agent. Who I really need to speak to is his manager or to him. Agents just want to know about $$ I have a better chance closer to the source.

I still haven't had time. I've been working on a new script non stop and rewriting another, and another. I'll try and get to it asap.

Yeah yeah....ya big giant liar head. (Sorry for the harsh language) It's a fast read.
