The #1 Film Festival for Children and Teens is Now Accepting Submissions!

New York International Children's Film Festival (NYICFF) is issuing a call for entries for the upcoming 2011 festival – to take place from March 4-27, 2011 – with a sold-out-in-advance audience of over 20,000 children, teens, parents, filmmakers and media professionals and a marketing reach of 2 million in the New York area. NYICFF seeks creative, original, non-formulaic works that will help to define a new, more compelling film for kids.

On Saturday 28th August, Clapham Picturehouse will play host to the Sound in Vision music film festival. This all day event will feature an array of different music-inspired films plus a smattering of live music acts throughout the day.

Please send in your short films - we welcome music videos, artist videos, short films with strong soundtracks, music footage (such as recordings of live music), in fact anything with both strong audio and visual elements.

The film "Boond" (in English "A Drop") recently won an award from Indie Fest. This film is a dark exploration of power and the affect it has on those who use it.
